He'd turn stupid and just happen to do the one thing that could potentially beat him.

Well let's see... he'd become so much of an immortal, and will break into this forum with this power, attempting to capture Tim. However, he will be miraculously defeated by Kyouka Suigetsu, when he discovers Kyouka's the true prince of all saiyans. He'll attempt to destroy the forums with his overwhelming trolling power, but will be banned by -Zero-, -Zero- will be known as a hero for years to come. :)

actually, considering that there are techniques that create entirely new limbs or bodies, i don't doubt that it would be possible to learn how to regenerate
What techniques are those? Anyway, even if learning the ability to regenerate is possible, I still think that you'd be indestructible if you were immortal.
Multiform technique. Tien used it to split his body into four, but he has also used it to grow two extra arms, showing it can be used to change functions inside of the body as well as replicate them.

actually, it's 2 separate techniques, but yeah, that's what i was talking about.
list of canon sources:

the DB manga, and the Dr. Slump manga as it applies to the crossover during the rra saga.

list of non canon sources:

everything else, regardless of origin, format, or quality.

Really? Wow I just thought it was one technique that he had improved.

Lmfao. It would work if Gohan wasnt immune to it. As a kid, his whole base was being sucked in as we're Kami, Piccolo, Gku, and Krillin yet Gohannstood there as a 2 or 3 year old. In the saga, the whole lookout was getting sucked in except the piece Gohanput a bubble arou. His bubble held Krillin and Piccolo from the gravitational pull.

Garlic Jr (canon aside) showed that wish immortality = auto regen from everything. This mean that Vegeta would merely regenerate and keep gaining Zenkais until he can defeat his adversary.

did anyone actually watch the Garlic Jr. saga? garlic doesn't regenerate because he's immortal, he regenerates because he's in the light of the makyo star. that's why the spice bros. regenerate too when the light hits them.

canon immortality = does not age.

movie/filler immortality = does not die.

there are no additional benefits to either form of immortality that were either stated or implied. you aren't invincible, because the plan in movie 1 was to cripple garlic jr. you don't get extra regeneration powers, because the spice boys regenerated too, and they obviously aren't immortal, since 2 of them were already dead, and the other 2 died shortly after.
